Compositions

Quiet Night (composition for Flugelhorn & Piano)
Quiet Night takes its inspiration from the still of the night: moments of reflection, recurring thoughts, heightened perception, and a starry sky, contribute all to a sensation of voyage into space.
Sabbatum Sanctum "Holy Saturday" (composition for Solo Soprano, SATB chorus and String orchestra)
“Sabbatum Sanctum ” is the second movement of a composition about the apostle, Maria Magdalena. On the day before Christ’s resurrection, Maria Magdalena is wondering why they have crucified her Lord. Then soon after, the chorus and her ask The Lord to protect and preserve them. The music accompanied only by strings, has chromatic elements that help the story unfold as a lamentation. English Text by Marc Douyon Please, tell me why have they crucified him? Please, tell me why have they killed him? Oh Lord, May your sacrifice be not in vain! Latin Text from Holy Saturday Latin Mass Per sua sancta vulnera gloriosa custodiat et conservet nos Christus Dominus. Amen. (Through His holy and glorious wounds may Christ the Lord preserve and keep us. Amen.)
Ballet in the air (composition for flute, horn, flugelhorn and double bass)
Ballet in the air, is a composition that tells the story of one day in the life of a butterfly, who after being chased and caught, three times managed to escape. Moments of happiness, tension, and sadness are symbolically attached to the story. At the end of the composition, cherishing its freedom by resuming its ballet in the air, the butterfly reminded the composer of this Irish blessing: May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun. And find your shoulder to light on. To bring you luck, happiness and riches. Today, tomorrow and beyond.
Dies Passioni Domini "The Day Of Our Lord’s Passion" (composition for Solo soprano, SSATB chorus and orchestra)
“Dies Passioni Domini” is the first movement of a composition about the apostle, Maria Magdalena. In that work, the day that Christ has been crucified, Maria Magdalena is lamenting over the verdict and punishment administered to her Lord. The orchestra and the chorus play an active role in the story. English Text by Marc Douyon Guilty was the verdict! Crucifixion was the punishment! Untainted was He, until death! Latin Text from Good Friday Latin Mass Sanctus immortalis, miserere nobis. (Holy immortal one, have mercy on us.)
